The VPLVW60 features advanced SXRD® display technology that meets and exceeds the demands of a high-definition image at its full 1080-line resolution. The 1920 x 1080p display shows smooth film-like images with minimal screen door effects, high response times (2.5 ms rise and fall), high contrast ratio with wire grid polarizers, high contrast plate and accurate color rendition. In addition, 3 newly designed SXRD chips deliver significantly improved native and dynamic contrast for inky blacks and amazing depth of picture. New adjustments for panel alignment ensure precisely matched RGB images for pristine image reproduction, and the internally scaled Anamorphic Zoom mode works with an optional anamorphic lens to enable native 2.35:1 aspect ratio viewing.
