Polk's breakthrough I-Sonic acoustic system creates a stereo soundstage throughout your entire room. Here's how it works. We start with four specially-designed full range speakers, two on the front and two on the back of the sleek I-Sonic Entertainment System console. Through the magic of Digital Signal Processing, Polk engineers create full stereo all the way around the system. And for lows so deep they will astound you, we include Polk's patented PowerPort® bass technology.

Polk's engineering breakthrough changes the rules for small system performance. Conventional table-top systems "beam" the sound straight towards the listener, even those with two speakers. At best, these designs can create a stereo soundfield for someone seated directly facing the unit. It's not at all satisfying for any other listeners in the room.

Four-speaker I-Sonic Technology - Only Polk's exclusive, patent-pending I-Sonic design lets everyone in the room enjoy the rich sound. The I-Sonic stereo soundfield is projected all around. No matter where you are in the room, you'll get the full I-Sonic experience
Patented PowerPort® Technology - PowerPort venting technology belts out the kind of rich powerful bass you'd expect from much larger stereo speakers. Bass ports redirect the sound created by the back of the speaker cone into the room. But conventional bass ports lose efficiency and create distortion because of air turbulence at the mouth of the port.
Advanced Digital Signal Processing - Built into every I-Sonic is a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with the processing power of a small computer. Polk engineers have programmed the DSP to ensure that you hear incredible sound at every volume level in every spot in the room.
HD Radio® technology for static-free reception. Radio stations all over the country are converting to digital HD radio broadcasting. The chances are very good that your favorite radio station is or will shortly be broadcasting in HD.
Conventional AM/FM Radio - If your favorite radio stations are not yet broadcasting in HD you will receive standard analog AM and FM just like any other AM/FM radio (only better sounding of course). You can preset 30 of your favorite stations.
XM Satellite Radio Ready (*Optional Add-On. Requires optional add-on of the XM Mini-Tuner, plus monthly subscription from the provider. )
Sirius Satellite Radio (*Optional Add-On. Requires optional add-on of the Sirius Tuner Bundle, plus monthly subscription from the provider. )
DVD/CD/MP3 player with S-video & composite outputs -DVD+RW/+Rs and MP3s to deliver a wide array of media options.
Full Complement of Inputs/Outputs - Backpanel hookups include: Aux 1 input, RCA output, Composite Video, S video and XM Satellite, as well as AM and FM antenna hookups. The left sidepanel has an Aux 2 input for iPod and other MP3 players and a headphone jack.
Dual Alarm Clock - Dual alarm clock that can be set to either 12-hour AM/PM or Military 24-hour time formats.
iPod® and MP3 players Connectivity - iPods and MP3 players, cassette decks or any stereo audio source devices hook up to the I-Sonic via one of two Auxiliary inputs: a stereo mini jack connector on the side and a pair of RCA jacks on the back.
